Watch your positive mental health

If you are a normal person, meditate for half an hour a day , but if you’re a person who doesn’t have time meditate for 1 hour a day . 

You have 45,000 negative thoughts a day. That’s almost 80% of your thoughts. Not just you …. Everyone does .This might not be in your control, but what’s in your control is your ATTITUDE.

William James said “you can change your life by changing your attitude “

Positive thinking is a mental and emotional attitude that focuses on the bright side of life and expects positive results. A positive person anticipates happiness, health, success and believes he/she can get over any obstacle or difficulty.

So let’s WATCH your positive mental health

W- WATCH YOUR WORDS

Sticks and stones can break my bones but your words can break my heart. Words are a very powerful medium of communication which stays with people for ever. Watch your words, the dictionary of negative words should vanish from your mind and a string of positive words should replace it.

A-WATCH YOUR ACTIONS

What you do that is so loud that I can’t hear what you speak? Watch your actions as it is very impactful on the opposite person. Keep a check meter which helps you scan your day before you sleep. Actions can be intentional or unintentional. Ask yourself a few questions like DID I MAKE SOMEONE SMILE TODAY? OR DID I HURT SOMEONE TODAY?

T- WATCH YOUR THOUGHTS

Meditation helps to watch your thoughts and that’s why it is very important to meditate on a daily basis for a healthy happy life. Thoughts either drain your energy or pump your energy up. Thoughts are the energy packets. We channelize our energies in worrying about unnecessary things.

C-WATCH YOUR CHARACTER

Don’t slip because of peer pressure or societal pressure; Constant working on yourself helps you build your character. Be genuine, learn to smile at people, lend your ears to listen to people. Compliment people, Help people in your own small way. All these things help you build your character a nd this indeed helps you stand out in the crowd.

H- WATCH YOUR HABITS

If you do anything for a span of 21 days it becomes a habit, make it a ritual and this will help your mind to become stronger and stay more positive.

HABIT – If you take out the alphabet H – A bit remains

If you take out the alphabet A- Bit remains

If you take out the alphabet B- it still remains.

Positive mental attitude involves making mind shifts and having Control over your thoughts. At times you mind may say “These thoughts are not in my control “Yes they aren’t but having a regular practice of yoga and meditation will help you channelize your thoughts and directs them towards the positive ones. I am a person who swears by Meditation and chanting powerful mantras. I follow this practice on a daily basis. It makes my Mind calm and also makes me reduce the negative thoughts rushing in.
